there ya go, pembs/west wales finally gets some snow and beats the gulf stream drift lol

It actually hasn't stopped here in Pembroke, the flakes have just gotten smaller... lol... I still have a few white patches in the garden!

According to the radar we should be in for more if the temp hold up...

I'll let you know in bit. :)

The heaviest stuff appears to be headed in your direction but you can't tell what it will fall as until it gets there!  Almost stopped here already - was good while it lasted but no blizzard!

I'm hoping Kilgetty looks like that by the time I go home :)

Snow settling even at sea level out on the The Llyn on the beach at Abersoch.

How heavy is the snow showing on the radar? Will it reach the eastern valley?

if you swap the setting to a standard setting rather than weather type you can see that the initial stuff which is coming our way is very light and the stuff over west wales is a lot heavier

Wow, getting snow drifts against the fence now, most snow I've seen in years here.  Better go and get some milk and bread.

Still slightly snowing here - it looks like we did quite well out of this really but I won't be needing the snow shovel on this occasion :D

Now - when's that dangler going to set up.  Well, we can all do with more, can't we?

i suppose it's back to the models to see if we can hope for another shot before winter gives up....

If you check the radar this is not really coming inland it's tending to move on a more southerly track - it really is struggling to get past the centre spine of Wales.

Stopped snowing here now and the wind has increased. Must be several inches of lying snow out there and it is still cold. :cold:

Glad everyone has enjoyed the snow. Had a feeling the SE of Wales wouldn't see anything, fingers crossed we can pick up some showers tonight.

It really makes you think what we need to do to get a decent snow event, they say get the cold in and the snow will follow but this 'cold spell' isn't really cold that all. Not even a frost last night.

Really nice to see those out west getting something for once! Similar to what some of us had in December by the looks of it! Hopefully the stratospheric warming will give us something significant nationwide by the end of the month!
