Yeah as Andy said the weekend and into next week is looking very good again, surly it's only a matter of time before we get a long lasting cold spell.

don't think it'll cause too many problems this weekend - it'll be later next week if we get the crippling cold and then possibly some beefy fronts in the flow or battleground snow - that's when this weather throws up issues - that shower does look like it's managed to keep itself together over the mountains with one or two more behind it

I'm hoping the change in wind direction will be enough to push those just coming inland in my direction we'll see

Hopefully we see a few flakes in Cardiff tonight! I mean a dusting would be nice! Anyone in Newport like to report what they’re getting?

Zilch! I was about two miles west of the first shower. Looks like I may be on the very eastern fringe of the one heading towards east of Cardiff now. The blob after it looks like it's heading for Bridgend/ west of Cardiff. Be happy with a sprinkling just to enhance the frost in the morning! Haha.

Good to see others getting their first flakes! Hopefully this is the curtain raiser for winter!

I haven’t got a weather station but reports from Bute Park at 12am, was -1.5C air temp and dew point of -1.6C, surely that’s cold enough?
