I done my shopping yesterday, most bread was gone by then.

This is going to get serious tomorrow! I wish councils would close schools now. People WILL get caught out tomorrow and accidents will happen unless something is put in place.

I can't see only 5-10cm as it's supposed to be very heavy at times depositing a few cm an hour?

Derek Arpege charts look good. Hope it doesn' correct east though as am on the edge of the boundary for real heavy stuff. However all will see a dumping I reckon if various amounts.

Its interesting that even the showery light stuff this morning was starting to accumulate on the ground as its so cold- if this comes off could be borderline historic for many

Our own hashtag?

#DavidMeetEmma

**SNOW**
Thursday is when David meets Emma
Storm Emma moves towards Wales tomorrow morning, St Davids day bringing what could be known as the St Davids Day blizzard when we look back at this day in the future.

Fantastic not much down forecasted here yet again. Honestly how many times do the surrounding valleys and to the east of us get the snow. Yet we get bugger all yet again. 2013 all over again.

8 years and counting it seems like for another decent snowfall. Roll on spring (when it will eventually arrive here)

Looking at the charts I must say there seems to be a very dry area around Swansea and could end up being a very easterly event with just a few flurries here let’s hope it’s wrong !

I think all the high res models I've looked at this morn show a very insignificant event for Swansea and Carmarthenshire.... I hope they don't verify as I'll be gutted.

GFS and ECM not so bad with their precipitation BUT.....  like ever high res model shows the area mostly dry or with light PPN :wallbash:

My opinion is you won't see a red until tomorrow morning if at all. Every red I have seen is just before the event starts when they are pretty certain of the outcome. Saying that I would expect the amber to move to being more likely on their matrix than it is now today.
