Just had a random shower here a bit wintry in nature with the odd flake but was more rain than snow ' also above Daniel* mentions snow is a good possibility for Tuesday .

Can anyone verify this and if so where is the front or fronts coming from .

coming in from the usual westerly direction, but upper air close by on both front and back of it is freezing so could definitely be some back end snow if not more

Thank's @andymusic let's do hope so as i am fed up with winter so far ' we get close to an event and it just turns out to be rain .

Really tired of these westerlies ' been great for ireland and scotland but for our region especially down here its just been dull and yuk .

Get used to the dull and yuk cos that's all I c for the rest of this week and maybe a few snow flurries which will still make dull and yuk not a wintry nivarna

some lovely hefty snow showers coming through & GFS 12z on for the easterly again around that magical date 20th Feb

Just had a Grauple shower in eastern Swansea lets hope the showers get a bit more hefty. i am looking for about 10 inches by morning lol fancy a day off.

We've only had a light graupel shower today but other than that it's been sunny. Really nice in the sun too.

glad you enjoyed it - gonna get mighty colder once this easterly is in and with the right conditions a lot more snowier

....but..... a long wait until it possibly happens.... it keeps disappearing and that's worrying. If we can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory - we will !

The easterley is by no means nailed. So I don't think you can say when its in dude.

Had a mixture of graupel, ice and snow from the showers today giving temporary coverings. Be nice if the showers would continue over night!
