Andy it seems you have been posting these snowy looking charts all winter and the winters before this. How often have they not verified?

I must say however Tuesday is looking good for you folks..

here's an interesting chart - euro 4 against what's happening on radar now - euro 4 underplays potential - always

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Su 11.02.2018 06 GMT

so if it's underplaying potential - this actually looks quite good in the next few hours

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Su 11.02.2018 12 GMT

and this one does - considering yesterday - euro 4 had very little to nothing down for us - but gfs had loads

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Su 11.02.2018 18 GMT

interesting

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Mo 12.02.2018 18 GMT

I see the latest ECM is already in its last 2 runs not even showing an easterly at 168 but high pressure building from the south.  This is why I don' pay any attention until we get in reliable timeframe. There will be changes with each run but ECM may be showing a new pattern

Had a lot of showers here this morning, no snow just hail. Ground covered but it is melting. Oh well!

It's snowing here ! Obviously the charts are showing snow potential it's been trying for the last week or so , surely a good dumping is imminent ? Keep the charts coming Andy it's good see as I'm staying clear of the crazy thread ??!

no easterly on the gfs 6z - but model runs will fluctuate in their output, still think around the 20th of the month the freeze will begin

but it does continue on with this same north westerly mainly freeze with the odd slightly milder bit theme

We've had this setup many times this winter and it hasn't delivered anything to south wales apart from the odd flurry. Its looking dry for much of the day

I think snow chasers on MAD and Moan threads are like a person with a delicious meal in front if them but watching Nigella cooking on tv rather than eat......

admittedly not a blizzard but some lovely snow - here we are again

contrast euro4 and the current radar - way under doing it again

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Su 11.02.2018 12 GMT

means this could be interesting for this afternoon - and the radar is closer to what gfs has been showing the last few days

just put a bit more snowy meat on the chart below lol

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Su 11.02.2018 18 GMT

tomorrow afternoon

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Mo 12.02.2018 18 GMT

interesting potential - rain to snow?????

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Tu 13.02.2018 06 GMT

I'm from the blackwood area but have a school trip (yr 3 children, yay!) on Wednesday to st fagans, is it going to snow?

Its wishful thinking as the kids hate being outside in the cold and wind!! Snow day maybe?? Plz!
