I have a feeling the height caveat of 200m and above will matter - you may see some flakes or sleetiness though as the cold is embedding further into the front as it goes reason why the met office were more concerned for south east England as it will arrive in the dark and with more cold embedded

I am getting the snow here but nothing is accumulating - it's possible the accumulating level will be around 300m and above as senghenydd mountain may have some once the cloud clears

Definitely settled snow around 150m-200m in Conwy valley. Lower stuff is melting, but modest altitude is very white. Temperature drop was marked. Very interested in the shower activity to come this evening - will provide more interest at lower levels.

Sleeting here in Cardiff, it’s a shame because if this came in the night it would be snow

Ye and this has been an issue for wales since the start. Originally it looked like it would be later in day which increased our chances but not the case.

Onto Thursday now which is a completely different scenario.

I think Thursday could turn out similar if the shape of the low is not favourable for us down south as to much warm air will be pulled up in front of the system. I am hoping it does not do that!!! Just trying to keep grounded at the min and it has shown this option on some runs.

Any snow Thursday? Or has that gone.

Looking like rain/sleet in most low lying areas now (especially in the south) snow on high ground heaviest to the north.

Rain stopped a while back, clouds now rolling back nicely, sun appearing in the west as I write this.....  Might be a nice evening although we could get some showers later.....   all in all I think it's over for Pembrokeshire today.   I will be hoping for something more wintry on Thursday or Friday but not placing any bets!   Now starting to look at the following week for any signs of more cold weather but time is running out.

think this ssw science is still in it's embryonic stages of understanding - and that's what has been egging everyone on to think it was gonna be amazing to this point - which as you've stated - so far it's fallen short - but still have all of feb to go through as yet and potential snowy march

Snow cleared still cloudy yet, waiting for that to shift so it can turn extremely icy.

A covering of snow and slush will make for interesting walking tomorrow.
