Ha ha that was only chopped last month and supposed to be the start of next winters wood... :D

I might have to dip into a few pieces though as supplies in the porch are starting to run low !!!  lol... :whistling:

Our wood is looking rather poor , not even started on this year's wood yet ?!

You can never have enough wood can you... lol...

We've got about 3 cube chopped so far, but need at least 6, ideally 8!!!

Still got to find supplies but aiming to be finished sawing and chopping by end of April and going to let the wind and he sun do the rest...

I hope you catch up soon x

12z models firming up on idea of more snow tonight now. Uncertain still and different intensity/location of different models.

If you look on radar the precipitation in south east is growing and intensifying

Reading the south east thread the snow is quite heavy as you said the area of snow is increasing.

Just made it home to Newcastle, looks to be an inch of powdery and grainy snow fell at home overnight, whereas just left 4 inches of thick fluffy snow in Ruthin, North Wales which looked impressive in the valleys this morning after stopping in the castle overnight.

The clump over London- moving WNW at the moment, and guess it will start sinking SW at some point. Right now it's filling out and intensifying though so fingers crossed!

Family live in Denbigh, just up the road from Ruthin, and the Clwyd valley always seems to cop it! Lovely area!

Very interesting watching the band grow and build over the south east, with a bit of luck will maintain enough of a north trajectory to keep us in line for some more snow in the south! (I live in hope)

Don't think there is enough westwards progression before the inevitable push from the high pressure takes it down southwards.

Would be nice to get a little more tonight but there is enough here to cause issues getting to work in the morning!

yes the ppn band is further north than forecast and more intense its just a case of the continuation of intensity as it moves west

A few flurries here last few hours, extra sprinkling on the frozen surface, heading slightly further north on the radar,GFS not accurate either as nothing is when it comes to the weather.

Weird the area of snow in the Irish is moving eastwards meeting the light snow moving westwards
