Oh my word!  That red squally looking line heading to Cardiff. That is going to be immense!

Well, at 55 years of age, I cannot remember a snow drift up against my back door like this.  I've lived in Milford for 14 years and never seen it here either.

Honestly WOW. Everyone in Cardiff area, 20 minutes look outside. It’s going to be incredible. Just walked from pub, snow now ankle height with drifts of one and two feet.

This is unbelievable. The wind has really picked up and the snow is absolutely tamping down - shame my camera didn't pick out the snow falling.  Don't think I'll be going anywhere anytime soon!

And you're just about under a yellow.

The snow is sliding off my conservatory roof in great clumps at the moment...startling!  Going out for a walk.

Bright echoes heading for far SW Wales and far SE Wales.  Not a lot going on here, the remarkable thing is the strong wind from the wrong direction!  Amazing how the models called this dry corridor up the centre of Wales days ago and it's exactly what's happening.

Edit: Well not the centre really, more my house...

Its not as deep as most areas but still got a covering here so nice to see, can't see the falling snow though.

What's falling are the cornices...and I can see the pressure lines in the snow further up the roof.  Cats declining to go out!

How are we looking on the v7 now, still coming towards us or that gap coming for us?
