I know it’s been a disappointment for some.

but I can’t stress how bad it is in Cardiff city centre now. Not exaggerating, if that red band hits, we could be talking historic.

Are those the old orange streetlights you have? God, I miss them for snow watching.

the Dai After Tomorrow.jpg

I'd even put up with three months of 30c+ in summer if that comes off- pretty much a repeat of what we've just had today. :yahoo:

Still coming down steadily in Cardiff centre/west. Fine stuff but got probably 6" generally with deeper drifts of upto 18". I remember 1982 and this isn't it (so far?) but it's great to see a bit of the white stuff in the capital. 1st time in a fair few years!!

Conservatory watch indicates that blocking the gap in the ceiling with 2 towels makes no difference.

I've also got another 3 leaks.  A bit of the rubber has come away from the seal and there's at least an inch deep extending in a 6 inch radius from it.  I dread to think how much snow I'll have inside tomorrow morning.  I've taken all cushions and tables out (but not the beer).

My garden varies from nothing on the patios to knee-high drifts by the walls.

Snow appears to have gotten much lighter here now, hopefully won't be long before it picks up again!

If you haven't got felt on your roof my suggestion is go up the attic tomorrow and have a look for snow one fella in the village in 82 said instead of clearing snow off the pathways he was emptying the loft of snow. By the way we have lighting here now in pembs Im guessing its linked to that red blob heading for us.

Same problem through gap on front door. Had to block with towels

wild here now (llandrindod wells).

great stuff and it'll be talked about for a long time like 2010 and 1982.

not as much snow here as in december but far wilder, colder and driftier :)

The north hasn't done too bad considering the met had no snow in its forecast, the BBC forecasted it and it's been more accurate, had light snow all afternoon and it's starting to build up, looks like you guys down south are on the sweet spot, hope your steak tastes good lol, what's for pudding......
