i'm sure the mountain is pepping up Maesteg's snow. looking at the v7 radar just now, it was light pink, and now, just north of tondu :D all the way to me, it is dark pink.

Will the Big Yellow Blob hit us, its getting close

Sadly not, it seems, the red pocket that developed NW of Wells knocked it out.  It's like watching the curling (or bowls)

Two photos, the first from around 6:20 just as the snow was beginning to drift, and the second of level snow in my garden just this minute (approaching 8", if you can't make it out.)

Not bad for little old Magor. Mind you I went outside and it is so freezing and icy cold, my heart sank for all those people and animals who do not have homes. People will not survive  in this im sure ;-(.

Here comes the real heavy precipitation!! But also the milder air!

a historic event here in Cardiff, really quite severe (or great)

heavy precipitation also in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire now. Looks quite severe down there too. Unfortunate boundary of light in between these.

Just been out back and its back to fine snow and there's close to an inch on the patio, hopefully some of this heavier stuff will add to that!

Looking at the split in the precip though it does look like we will miss most of the heavier stuff sadly

This is becoming a generational event in Tenby.

I've been here 14 years and never dreamt I'd see dry powdery snow drifting along The Esplanade, what conditions, superb.
