Anyway.. Anyone else in 'far' West Wales wondering how this will pan out for us?

I've already told my Dad to make sure the Kabuto (small tractor, 4x4, with bucket on front, i.e.: snow plow! ) is working so he can get them both over the Ridgeway into Pembroke where fresh homemade chicken soup awaits them and tonight the log burner is currently roaring with the temp inside 23.5c... Socks offf !!! They did at least join in and laughed at me :D

Snow for many and heavy. Lighter falls to the west of high ground but a good covering for all. Very heavy precip come late evening.1442BF73-6387-4AF2-BDD8-95109D4FF20D.thumb.gif.15885d03b29b18d2579b391c0d64f91a.gif

I'm hoping for some snow and a snow day on Friday!

If the Met Office are as on track as they have been all week Jayne, You'll get your wish ! x

I even think you'll get home tom after work as I don't think the 'real' snow will start in the West until after 6pm... x

and i'm back - it's ok - sorry I've been a bit busy with stuff - we have a fair bit of snow on the ground now - so a little base - weird powdery stuff that blows around in the wind - just like the alps - lovely stuff - gets everywhere too and freezes to the windows - remember seeing the exact same thing in the ski resorts there

I'd rather look at the fax charts compared to that silly model . Its about time they improved it again.

Using the RainToday radar which has been pretty decent so far. Anyway, the predicted precipitation for 00:50 tonight. Surely over-egging it? It's all moving east- west.

Andy , I think you better get plenty of peppercorn sauce as those steaks will be flying down the graigerhorn for the next 3 days now .

Medium rare please with 2 large eggs crispy white runny yolk but don’t burst it .

The minor upgrades have started ...

If it does go further east as gfs has just shown then will that not move the heavier snow east with it?

Can I be blunt? Haven’t contributed much lately but omg what the hell did Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion do to upset the Snow Duw? Constantly progged very little...tbh completely underwhelming in terms of snow atm! Good luck to almost everybody else in Wales.....we will enjoy your photos :(

That’s only if the precip maintained same intensity. Will likely all but die by time it moves to us, especially with the approaching front. Doesn’t matter anyway, latest output great for snow for next 48 hours or so ❄️
