Must be a front pushing in form the south west then ...

Further snow showers are expected through Tuesday, with the potential for a more organised area of snow to push southwest across parts of England and Wales ?

I love watching these meto forecasts, gave us a short period of snow and sleet thismorning, now giving us 24hrs of snow/heavy snow again thurs/fri its like watching a yoyo

Its cold for sure now and a fair amount of cloud around, im sure we will manage a shower or two over the coming days.

God I can't keep up. Now in south east wales mainly freezing rain (that stuff is lethal, horrible, dangerous and absolutely no fun. Bring on the spring.

Why all the negativity???

Potential to be best cold spell for ages. -16c 850 temps. Air temp not much above freezing tomorrow. Wednesday and Thursday below freezing maximums for most. Snow for most of us at some point tomorrow. Currently on all models - snow Thursday and Thursday night with gales. Some models show milder upper air arriving Friday which may turn snow to Freezing rain for the south. But that’s only after a long period of blizzard conditions!

Let’s hope that in the next few runs we see the milder air not coming as far north. Probably quite likely. It has potential to be significant and as Derek said. He is “quite concerned”

We have had snow flurries on off all day, but not settling.  Having just seen Beeb and Meto updates, I am thinking that thankfully it won’t be  2010 or 2013 in this part the country, or it is, it will be dryer snow and therefore more  blowy if that makes sense?

What Derek has posted is what I alluded to earlier today,.models show mid wales taking the hit with the south missing out on the main front.  May get some showers
