Very light but persistent snow falling here and settling everywhere except wettest parts of ground.  Already whitening the grass and hills around.  Should look very wintery in the Presellis in a couple of hours.   Looks like we could get about four hours of this if we're lucky which might amount to a centimetre or two!  Not artic conditions by any means but I'll take what I can get!

Snowfall now moderate to heavy here - everything now turning white rapidly.  Hope this keeps up for the rest of the morning!  First proper falling / settling snow here, at this level, for at least three years.  With any luck the temperatures will stay low enough for it to hang around until tomorrow at least....   Keep looking out of the window, South Wales, it's coming your way!

A bit heavier here now, not settling as yet, but I am right on the sea front so don't expect much. Tenby's primary schools could have a few issues with their pupil's concentration this morning, my daughter included. :D

A large blob of heavier precip approaching Pembs now from the north/north west. Hope it stays cold enough there for you to see some good snow. Snowing even on the coasts I hear which is rare. Dry as a bone in Cardiff so far.

I woke up at 4.30am and going by NetWeather's radar there was snow falling. Dry as a bone though, but then I could not go back to sleep and had to keep checking. Lol

Hoping we at least get to see some flakes fallng here at some point today. :)

It's not the size that matters....it's the intensity that does and its gradually increasing! :D

The heaviest stuff appears to be headed in your direction but you can't tell what it will fall as until it gets there!  Almost stopped here already - was good while it lasted but no blizzard!

there ya go, pembs/west wales finally gets some snow and beats the gulf stream drift lol

I'm sure you'll get some too, later on.  It's moving your way!  At your elevation, should definitely be white!

Mum reporting heavy snow from time to time in Deiniolen, North West Wales. Nothing here in Cardiff, dry but cold. We might get some light snow later (darker clouds rolling in from the West) but I don't think we're in for anything special. Temperature at 2C with a dew point of -3.1C
