really coming down here - and blizzardy blanket of snow - even though it was wet - sticking now aswell - turning us white and back into Narnia - this winter is delivering well - and so early in the season still - colder temps to come further into Jan and feb no doubt - but marginal events are rather good - takes the precip to bump up against the cold air to produce the goods - winters of old have taught us that - sliders and lows bumping into already cold air - loads of snow - 47/63 etc exactly the same

What's the correct term for a blizzard of sleet? That's what I've got now. The worst of all weather! ?

Starting to turn a little more snowy though. Fingers crossed that cold air really mixes in as it sinks SE.

That sounds like an incredibly cooll name for a band, so happy to go with that. Bring on the blizzeet.

It can be a sleezard whenever it's over us in Newport. Seems appropriate ?

Now blowing a proper blizzard! Could be some surprised people in the morning if it keeps up. 2 marginal events in a row. Strange times!
