Good luck to ya. I'm driving through Capel Curig which does very well for high wind gusts, 100mph not unheard of there due to the elevation.

oh bloody hell. Yes. Capel Curig often tops the wind gust tables.

Met Office showing 94 mph this morning for Capel Curig.

Still looking good for heavy wintry showers Monday night into Tuesday expect some snow cover briefly over high ground 06_39_preciptype.png?cb=900

Been snowing in Blaenau Ffestiniog for a while gardens cars and roof opposite covered now nothing special but nice to see.

Heavy snow at Dowlais Top and a flash of lightning followed by a long rumble of thunder here.

A slightly more interesting night than I was expecting.

Looks like you had to wait till spring for the snow and the upper temps show anything but snow,relatively mild.

That's when spring bring the snow.

Relentless rain Friday caused me problems with surface water off the hillside fields pouring through a retaining wall and up and over the back door. Not seen that happen before.

Fortunately it slowed and we managed to avoid major ingress and damage.
