Bit random, but radar showing significant front/system entering n.scotland atm. Wonder where that's off to? Polar low?

Snowing quite a bit up bwlch now. Outside my house roads are covered and cars but I am high up, I like snow but not tonight as I have very early start in morning and don't fancy getting out of here in covered roads now I don't have my 4x4.

Started snowing again here after a half hour or so break. Showers do seem to be losing intensity by time they get here

Heavy sleety rain here now after snow shower earlier think the milder sector is over us now

Didn't expect it to snow as much this early, everything is white now but just stopped.

Been in the local pub all night ' just got a taxi home and wow ' snow has fallen fantastic here and looking at Radar more to come .

huge snow showers now dropped nearly a cm in 20mins and more picking up behind!!! This should make its way across a lot of the south its massive!!!

Well it's not snow in Cardiff yet, its too loud for snow!! Haha!

Must be, not snow! Sleet probably 

hopefully it drops the temp a bit if heavy...

Noooooo, look at radar. Biggest shower of night coming down very soon. One big band of precip, wait for that surely? Haha! I got work at 7.30 too don't worry!

Is that the clump over the beacons? Seems like it's disappearing into thin air north of Newport...

How long would you say? I'm up 6.15 lol. It better dump an inch at least.

I'm hoping it might just clip Cardiff Rhys, doesn't seem to be losing intensity like the others!

I don't mean to make anybody jealous but it's begun throwing it down with snow here. Big flakes at that. We have a covering on most surfaces from earlier.

Hopefully the air will turn colder again behind this band currently passing through, meaning that low lying areas will see further showers fall as snow.

The hills around Cardiff etc don't half sap most the energy out of these showers. Should be any minute now, if it hasn't dissapeared into dust over Pontypridd that's is...
