Every time I check the impending snow seems to be pushed back so I think I'll try and sleep and wake up to something in six hours. 

 

 

 

I say that now but now but I know fine and well I'll be glued to my phone.

First shower of snow here, flakee were massive so must be very wet and just turning from rain,  wonder is there any chance when its day time?

I've never seen for my location MetO showing heavy snow symbols for 14 hrs continuous, would be nice all the same if it verified.

Not much reporting of snow occurring this morning

Showers still a thick sleet/wet snow, looking at thr euro4 thr 850hpa temps at -6/-7 at yhe moment,  by 9 or 10 they drop to -8/-9 so everything should be snow then!

Dont worry Sparky, Upper temps dropping all the time, I would say any shower from now on will be the white stuff

Lying snow with us now, here's a shower that ran through an hour ago. Hoping for a good 24hrs ahead!

had a brief covering here, low of 1.3c, 1.9c now, not alot of shower activity here :nonono:

just saw a report though saying expect most snow shower activity after midday :pardon:
