Love this bit just before the event, in my head 3 feet of snow will fall but in reality some will be lucky (Pom, sperrin, MS, boofer, etc) others not so lucky (ahem Rochey) but let’s all enjoy the lamppost watching!:cold:

There will be snow falling during daylight hours too, so no need for the lampost!

Hopefully the snow will be that heavy the daylight will be replaced by the lamplight

Just rain in Lisburn at the minute, due to be delivering training here tomorrow too. Already been pre warning the group about potential no show tomorrow!

beefy showers coming through and expect to see a dusting on top of the hills in way home.

Get home.

Light fire.

open curtains.

Always enjoy @carinthian's updates on model thread. Hope you don't mind me referencing you!

I like the sound of a weaker feature with a more southerly track!

Their shorter range model still has some concern about the low to enter the UK mid week, however the model is showing a disturbance in the flow rather than a full on low at this stage of proceedings. So a bit more southerly track envisaged but open to lot of uncertainty.

Stand by your beds!!

The low on Wednesday is much further South is an open wave rather than a fully enclosed low, this is good news for Ulster counties!!!!

Cant ever remember getting frontal snow up here, always a quick snow to rain event. have there been any examples?

Another southern turn and the low is now decidedly less intense! Great stuff, tiny wee corrections through these runs and we will stay in the cold air!
