Blah.. They said sleet and rain for Derry in early December we ended up with 2 whole days of lying snow. Though this is all hypocritical coming from me I always mention the automateds :pardon:

Tomorrow the snow starts to come into the range of the higher resolution models so we should see an improvement in the TV forecasts and the automated ones too.

Netweather showing rain for Belfast instead of snow - is this just the automated forecast - other areas updated for snow but not Belfast

Ok ECM update on the low one word for the north dumping. 

This cold spell could turn into something rather special and prolonged.:D

Snow depths is only Thursday morning.

Parts of Belfast are at sea level and rain is more likely, some  parts of Belfast are at 300 feet and will see snow.

Ah - I’ll be ok - I’m up in Mallusk ?. Flying into international at 5 on Tuesday, fingers crossed

Now I apprecaite the crack with metO automated forecasts but the snow symbols are starting to appear from Tuesday to Thursday.....they must have seen the post above showing depth of snow :rofl:

Lol the automateds sure are the funny bunch. They show 5C, then as soon as it enters first five days it drops down 2/3C.
