Its a shame about Sunday

But still happy with what ive got.  Had the dog out for a walk and its deeper than yesterday the overnight showers helped top it up.

Also something ive never seen before, it looked like the snow was Evaporating.  There is sort of mist above the snow, Tired to take a picture but didn't come out good.

30-40 mile northerly shift could be possible....or am I wishful thinking?

Will be a case of lamppost and radar watching.

Still will be nice for midland folk of Ireland to get a white wonderland like I have today.....great seeing the wee one running about in it.

A lot of the hi res models are showing rain for Dublin tonight and tomorrow... I’ll be inconsolable if we get nowt from this!

I hope not, poxy wind that will be coming off the irish sea could ruin things for those near enough to the coast, thats my biggest fear. Im about 10 -12 miles from the coast.

GEM gives a chance of snow hitting the south of Ulster

Unlikely it would mean anything though as it will just divot back south again.

Sadly looking that way, the wind will be coming in off the Irish Sea, pushing the vital temperature (dew point etc) the wrong side of marginal.

Heya rochey do u c anything from the back edge as it passes tomorrow

Possibly in the early hours of tomorrow, one of the hi-res models showed a snow event for us between 4 and 9am but the other 2 showed rain. Can’t remember which it was. I’m not confident at all now unfortunately!

UKMET-G 6AM

Maybe a slight chance we might get something up here

I’m feeling we will, but will have to wait and see. Precipitation starting to turn to sleet on the radar from the south west. Current track on radar looking good but will it turn before us.....lamppost watching from about 6am it is
