Longtimelurker
ECM is pretty rubbish in terms of snow. Dry fest mostly. Give me a Greenie high any day over this.

Showing dry at the min but it’s a long way out to be predicting snow from it. That will be a day to day basis. But what will be will be I’m afraid.

Yes precipitation does look a bit dry but I'll always take the cold and sun over the stuff we had last night thats for sure. We just need a stalling atlantic front and we'll be buried with those uppers. Edited January 3, 2018 by Guest
ronan Posted January 3, 2018 Location: Derry Location: Derry Share Posted January 3, 2018 Some eyecandy on this fine Wednesday morning. A long way out but keeps the interest. Personally i don't like an Easterly but some times we all can do good in a battleground setup. All to play for and plenty of winter left.

mountain shadow Posted January 3, 2018 Location: Carryduff, County Down 420ft ASL Location: Carryduff, County Down 420ft ASL Share Posted January 3, 2018 I have to say looking at the model output that Ireland could see a very good battleground situation next week as the Atlantic pushes in from the South West next week into hopefully already embedded cold air. Fingers crossed.

ronan Posted January 3, 2018 Location: Derry Location: Derry Share Posted January 3, 2018 I am liking the METO's latest video forecast. Mentions several times the likelihood of things staying cold until at least the middle of January with several attempts of the Atlantic trying to move in against the cold air.
