Been a while since I've seen a snow shower, must have been more than 2 years. Hopefully more to follow, get that surface and ground temperature tumbling.

Was admiring the snow outside when I noticed my kids pet rabbit hopping about the street. Just spent last half an hour chasing it round in the snow. Wee I need to control my language managed to knock the latch off it's hutch. Obviously a coldie!

Having too much fun checking this thread and the snow outside. Anyone give their thoughts on Sunday's slider according to 18z?

Check the latest week ahead forecast on BBC. Details still seem uncertain by the looks of it but that was probably on the 12z output.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

Week Ahead: Cool but largely dry until later in the week, when low pressure returns

We keep a chilly northerly flow going through much of the coming week, especially noticeable in the east. Cloud and rain spreading south Monday, but after that, most places largely dry until later in the week, when it looks to turn more showery. Read the full update here
