We had snow this morning around 9am but it was too wet to lie apart from on the grass and cars. The snow line is pretty low though looking at Benbradagh - maybe about 150m, less. It's just the very bottom that has no lying snow.

Going by radar the precipitation has stalled over sperrin and pom's house's for the past while?

It's moved through now, the first band was deadly (the YouTube link) with really heavy, fat flakes. The second band wasn't as intense.

My kids school is off today for parent teacher meetings and I booked off for annual leave. The kids are loving it, not as much as me though haha!

Been keeping my eye on that large area of precipitation to the North of Donegal.  Moving very slowly SE.  Hopefully it will still be active as it hits land.

Cars frozen here too, but the Dublin snow shield is in full effect again! No lying snow here since 2010 and not expecting any from the next few days. Need synoptics to be tweaked a little bit for us to get any looking at the medium range NWP. I'll never give up hope!!!!

Lovely covering of snow here and snowing lightly as I type. Nice heavy band of showers moving through SW ulster at present. More tasty looking bands coming in behind too.
