Translink really need to make a decision. I'm due to leave for work during the peak. Kinda need to know what I'm doing but it'll be last minute by them as usual.

My Company has closed all its offices in the Republic but we remain open in the North, all down to the different coloured warnings from Irish/UK Met.

It's 10 degrees here and feels cool and fresh which seems like the exception everyone else is saying it's warm. Keeping close eye on the few coming hours.

My offices closing in the North at half one.

Mass exodus in Belfast City Centre, it's like rush hour.

Apparently Translink are just playing it by ear, they better not stop all services suddenly.

See if I go on in to work and they do that and leave me stranded I'll be livid.

I’m up in Mallusk. Crash on M2 between Sandyknowes and Templepatric

When is the worse to hit us? It doesn’t seem too bad right now. I know the warning was only going into force now for us. I’m guessing 4/5ish will be bad and it’s just starting to pick up now?

Ah. Another hour. Is it expected to be as bad as it has been down south? Isn’t it supposed to cross us towards Scotland or continue up coast and the cross NE after

Unlikely to be as bad as we're inland a bit. Kilkeel area might be wild though

All translink services suspended from 5:30. Some even earlier. I just about to leave for work as well, nothing like last minute. Starting to kick off here now.

Crazy in antrim at the moment.

alot of trees down and roads blocked.

Public being advised about non-essential travel.  Coastal roads being closed soon.
