Snowed a bit earlier, but soon turned to sleet, then hail and finally rain. Absolutely baltic in that wind too. Love this time of year, shame that I had no lying snow for the 7th year in a row though! I need to move house... Now, just to tell the wife and kids...

The radar says it's been snowing since 17:50 but I haven't seen any.

Stopped snowing shortly after, and all melted. @Rocheydub where would you move to if you could?

well that cold snap was real bottom of the barrel stuff, pathetic. Not that i was expecting it to be much better anyway.

Perhaps the end of the month /start of march could deliver something half decent, but im sure there are some who dont give a toss at this stage considering the way this winter has gone.

Winter has been pathetic here! We are off to Iceland in 2 weeks time and we specifically booked this time of year so we could enjoy the cold and snow! This is not what i wanted to see! Seems that we aren't the only ones suffering a crap winter in terms of snow and ice!

It sure was! They have been having a pretty mild winter up there so far but been religiously checking the weather on a daily basis and it is set to turn cold and snowy by the end of the month so happy days.

I'm a regular visitor to Wicklow especially in snow starved winters. It's 40 minutes away from me thanks to the M50!

I know I haven't seen anything apart from a dusting on the hills.

Weather warnings in force from MetO for Wednesday night into Thursday.

Was surprised to see actually. Wind, rain and snow, :yahoo: a change from the norm this winter

The rain seems to be the main concern
