Not much more coming tonight I feel, apart from the odd shower. At least I won't be awake half the night lamp post watching!

Nice one Big Lad. Monaghan always seems to do quite well.

That large wedge of PPN in Northern Scotland does appear to be heading our way, it'seems filling out towards the west rather than moving down the east coast of Britain.

Looks like it could hit the east coast of NI at least!

If it does it wont be for a good few hours. Hopefully will wake up to something decent after a very disapointing day.

See that big band of precip to the north of Scotland. Am not convinced but it does seem further West than forecasted but i don't think we will see anything from it folks. Our best bet tonight is something beefing up just to our north but i am finding it very hard to believe that we will see anything more substantial tonight. It has been a day of let downs for some but some have done really well which is great to see.
