Showers in Scotland starting to turn to snow, shouldn't be long before it start here too.

The ones in the south of england shouldn't be complaining to much.....looks like some place could get a good dumping when the precipitation merge with the cold air.

For laying snow, you need 0 degrees or below from where the snow leaves the cloud until it reaches the ground.

Is the Dew point not moe applicable for snow to fall? You need a 0dew point or lower I think

The dew point has to be zero or below for the snow to stick on the ground. You can have falling snow with air temperatures above zero.
