Hey folks! Looking good for much of Ireland over the next few days. I finally move from south Tipp and it looks like the best snow potential there for years!

Enjoy!

Great to see you posting here @BornFromTheVoid hope all is going well for you in England!

Things are going well Pom, cheers. Things seem quite lively in here! Looks like a chance of some snow in Newcastle too, but I'll likely be too busy to enjoy it:(

Now that's encouraging, I find the euro4 tends to be pretty accurate.

I'd say it's deadly accurate, with the Dublin snow shield in full effect!!

For the 100th time, ignore the online app forecasts, they change constantly.

The high resolution models from tonight will give better guidance.

God have you seen the most recent ECM? The whole of Ireland under deep cold by next Wednesday, nothing marginal about that if it verifies!

You keep bringing up this Derry Snow Shield Brief. Haven't a notion what your on about unless you live at 0 metres above sea level right on the Foyle??

It's amazing really. Follow this run ( http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/royaume-uni/precipitations-hd/3h.htm )through from Wednesday to Saturday, One county remains snow free for the complete 72 hours... You guessed it. Dublin!

Easterly winds would be your best shot (EDIT: I think) aren't we suppose to have that setup later on?

20 metres above sea level according to "Google Maps find altitude" Im right next to the river, I have a good view of what's going on out to the east :)

THEY ARE! But sadly they are still in FI on the model outputs... And I'm not confident they will transpire.

I'm sorry about banging on about the Derry snow shield! All I do is complain about not getting a lot of snow while Dublin gets less :( Some perspective for me, I guess. I hope you get some of the white stuff this Winter anyway! :)
