5.8°C here with no sign of it fawlling. A bit  surprised as I was expecting to have an air frost tonight. oh well.

One positive; at least my weather station is fully up and running again.

IN many cases in a situation like tonights, where cloud clears to clear skies, you can almost always guarantee an air frost, yet when the sky is clear all night, it often struggles to do so.

Something is slowing the temperatures fall here.  0.6°C; can I get an air frost before sunrise.

Already down to 0c cars are iced over, going to be a cold one, going to ignore the mild mush from midweek hopefully a short blip of mild mush because I would rather have these sunny days and harsh frosts,

can't just ignore it, not sure about short lived either, looking at 12Z GFS, hope there isn't too much rain, if dry will be fine being mild

3.0°C...it's stuck again. Minimum this morning was 0.0°C!  Official station on the beach had an air frost again. It would be interesting to see statistics on how many air frosts have been recorded there in the last few weeks, definitely a few more than around here.  I wish there was a place to see tabular statistics.  There isn't even a place to see tabular latest observations now apart from on whetheronline.
