Looks like another nice and warm day here.  This is a fifth consecutive day of fine and beautiful weather. Make the most of it before it goes down hill by end of day.

15:00 and a short, sharp shower has brought to an end the glorious 3 days of warm, sunny weather...and it's looking more mixed now until later in the weekend.  Hopefully we could be settling down again next week

Lovely start gradually turned into that colour of sky that normally occurs on hot summer days when a storm is brewing.

it stayed dry though but a couple of heavy showers have come through in the last couple of hours although the sun is out again now.

all in all not a bad day though.

I thought that too.. it has the feel of a thunder day in May. We had a heavy downpour here

Seems they ran a stop sign at a crossroads RTAs seem to be the most dangerous part of chasing it seems.

Got a feeling today may turn out better than expected. Sun is out and temperature is shooting up, currently 14.2°C.

16'c in Buxton this afternoon and the closest the rainband got to here for today was a brief shower passing Marple 7mi away, not wall-to-wall sunshine but there's been enough humidity under the cloud to sit outside under it without feeling too cold.

Yep it's been a grand day's weather and it's even better when you know others are enjoying sunshine and the warmest day of the year

Warmest day of the year here with a few hazy sunny spells at times, especially earlier. Max 16.6°C.

It's such a warm night. Still 14.8°C, a respectable figure on most summer nights. Dry for the moment.

Mmm not the best part of the country to be past 3 days, yesterday and today dull wet throughout, though at least mild, with little wind, could be a lot worse I guess, but very different in feel to much of the rest of the UK, maxes of about 12-13 degrees, not especially warm.

Next few days look better, but cooler, Sunday promises to be a decent one, but will we see a perfect weekend like last one again this season I wonder.. they are hard to come by around here.

Warmest day of the year yet again!

A dry day with increasing sunshine amounts. Warmer than forecast, currently 16.7°C after a low over night of 12.7°C. Don't think we have yet attained the max.

First shower of the day but looking at the forecast it won't be the last

I almost stepped out the door at 9pm and i'm glad I chose not to as 20mins later the rain bucketed down, similar to yesterday with intermittent sunshine/cloud followed by a few heavy showers towards midnight. Early morning tomorrow waiting for the April Showers season to begin with a bang.
