 Heavy rain. The wrong side of marginal now, if it was even marginal before.  A bit of grauple doesn't count as a snow day unfortunately. Pretty much impossible to get snow rather than grauple in such a convective set up anyway. First thunder day of the year at least.

Ha. It really is rubbish. When it is mild the whole region is covered in rain, but when it is cold enough for snow, we are all left chasing showers. 

Last night doesn't look like it delivered for many sadly. Was hoping for a snowy walk with dogs before work,  but alas not meant to be.

Back in Heswall and nothing but wet ground. Looking over Liverpool it is possible to see white fields / rooves from Poll Hill

Typical of this winter really

If that stuff in the Irish Sea gets here quick enough Chris, it may well start as rain but could be heavy enough to turn to snow, interesting one.

Looks like there's some ppn over Egremont, too bad I'm at Sellafield were its dry, probably rain any ways.
