Gusty here don't think there is any damage about wheelie bins still in place and they are empty has it hit properly or is that my lot 

wife said it's a good day for drying washing :rofl:

Well quite windy for a time but nothing to write home about, worst winds to the south. Very strong up on the tops though.

Just got home gardens a mess and fence damaged,luckily only needed a few nails to sort it,.. Feeling cold outside now

Only one fence panel out at home so not that bad in the end but probably more to do with direction of the wind than the force of it.

Was not as bad here as I thought it would be can't even have a proper storm here :rofl: although I wouldn't want the damage or anybody to get injured ... oh you know what I mean

Quite bad here in st helens. Our water butt was ripped out from wall, 3 fence panels need replacing and 2 concrete fence posts snapped in 2. Fir tree few doors away has half of it missing, next doors trampoline has gon on holiday, dunno where to but hope its better than here! Lol

Wind has died off completely here now so all is set for the icy roads warning and maybe, just maybe a dusting of snow.

then it's back to heavy rain which currently looks like it's quite happy to set up residence across the region and do its best to ruin another weekend.

never mind at least the daylight is getting noticeably longer now so hopefully something a bit better can't be far off.

'Doris Day' was quite interesting but I think the more south west in the region the more nasty the winds were.  It was quite gusty here in Oldham, but I've seen, felt and heard worse.  The rain was sporadic but horizontal at times.  Those to the north and east of the region may have been closer to the slightly calmer centre of the low.
