Odd flake falling. Its bitter that wind, feels really cold.

Morning it's cold windy and snowless ,remote weather sensor (cat) refused to go out so no idea of temps  rh or dp s .

Just back and yes it was cold.

hardest part was trying to stand up on snow covering ice with a gale blowing.

GFS shows another warming at day 10 we may have 1 more chance

Just plain old sleet here in gee cross. So I'm Driving east towards the hills with my dogs.

Some pointless flakes in the air would take a thousand years to get cover from

Light flurries as has been the case for a few days.

Just wets the ground really.

Looking at the radar there's plenty of something getting very close to the east of our region.

will it cross the Pennines and if so, what will fall.

edit..... Light snow just started again here so looking good for when/if the main event arrives.

Not sure but there's a big area of something within touching distance of here now so I'd imagine we'll know what we are getting within the next hour.

from a selfish point of view I could do with it waiting until after the football but I doubt it will.

Moderate small flakes can see big flakes up in sky.Should be OK with elevation.

You can see main blob on sat 24 also some nice gravity waves over our region too

Heavy to moderate now n bigger flakes.Oh to be another hundred and 50m up lol.Sky full of it higher up.Goodluck all.
