Where did you hear about Costa Del Sol, I'm out that way in a few days

It probably won't verify to this extent, but it's still best to tuck an extra cardigan in your bag....

Haha, amazing how that big black like on the second chart is holding all the cold uppers in Europe. Dianne must have drew it on with her crayon.

Now I remember why I wasn't a fan of NWerly snow streamers when I lived in Manchester. We never got so much as a flake while 30 miles to the west was getting pummelled.

Yep, I'm calling it quits too.  Inlanders aren't going to get much from these showers.  Decent nears coastal areas nearest to the Irish Sea but energy is evaporating over land.  Maybe there will be a dusting into the early hours from the system dropping from the north...

Probably sellafield weather controllers evaporating it from the sky.

Usually Gtr Manchester area (especially higher ground to the east) does quite well in this setup.. I've got pictures in my Gallery from Jan 2010/13 following foot fall deposits.  This one though was given an uppercut spoiler by that low butting in from the south west earlier today, and now it's dead on it's feet.

Doesn't look like a lot is going to happen around here. That system coming from the north looks like it has died a death.

I think thats game over for me, i'm also fairly certain the SE is a better location for snow than here.

...and that low pressure system which was a real nuisance for our area, has allowed somebody in Kent to build a snowman!  This just wasn't our day today, we'll bounce back though...

I'll be a bit wary of using the radar as exact because I had the same thing where it says PPN is falling but its not, however there was showers in the vicinity so the radar may of been picking up on that.
