mmm.. I don't think it will be as 'productive' as 2010 but it's good to see the Irish Sea is in ' shower generator' mode.  It feels much colder now, have we passed the point of marginality?  Could be an interesting night ahead for some.

Just noticed on the beeb it is gonna be windy again overnight around 42mph tonight.

Jan 2010 started as a snall blob off blackpool and we all got excited about it as we were in same situation as now. We had just missed out on all the snow that went down south and then when the blob came it was reported as hail in crosby but as snow inland and it never stopped for hours

Snow has started to stick around Halewood area. Dew points are productive anything now will be of snow

Snow is only at around 500m on the three peaks and then not much of it, but finally having a flurry here at 180m after rain showers through the day.  Looks like there is more on the Lakes than the Dales.

Seeing lots of reports of it snowing and settling down south now. I'm happy for areas who haven't had snow in years....but still mega jealous haha.

They still put me down Heavy snow showers from the next hr onwards tonight.

If I remember rightly (and I probably dont) we already had some pretty cold wether in place by then?
