Very blustery this evening. We had a long lasting heavy shower late afternoon, but its been dry since. Current temp hovering between 3 and 4 degrees. Might see some wet snow before the night is out, especially if we catch a heavy long lasting shower. Tomorrow will see optimum chance for widespread snow showers across the region, more so places with height, but as ever it will depend on where the precipitation falls, something none of us can predict accurately, given it is a showery airstream.

Keeping an eye on the developing frontal feature progged for tomorrow night moving down eastern half of the country, looks like it will take a more westerly track down through scotland and across north england - could be a general fall of snow overnight tomorrow for eastern parts of the region at least - a developing situation. In the meantime all eyes on instability and position and depth of showers as they arrive from the NW. Tomorrow could be an exceptionally busy day in this forum.

Another shower and temp has plummeted again. Doubters of evaporative cooling playing a part,  think again. That was only a moderate rain shower as well.

The remnants of the showers  passing through are making it all the way to the east coast!
