Very light snow beginning to fall as that line of showers moves in.

Edit - Snowing properly now and settling.

That's odd. There's still quite a bit of snow here. Even on some of the pavements.

Oh yeah its on pavements away from the sun but we had bright sun most of the day which really worked on the melting process. I've no doubt the fields still have snow but probably compacted quite a lot. I'm going to head up to Flash in the morning and hope the showers overnight have given a good covering.

Going to be heading up the Peak District tomorrow for my snow fix. I've not seen snow since May 1st and that doesn't really count as it was in the Alps :)

We went to Ladybower in mid November so my lad could see his first snow there was a good covering there then.He is now 26 months and I had to prise him of the window at 7.00 am this morning as he watched the snow swirling past the the lamp post. But it soon turned  to back to rain and in Derby City Centre there was no snow at all.

Although I missed it coming down, just looked out the window and there is a light dusting of snow. Don't know if any more will head this way but skies are clear now. Don't expect it will last through tomorrow though but a nice sight nonetheless.

Moderate snow here already left a nice covering. Chesire gap shows more snow showers incoming.

Looks like the next band of snow is going to turn to rain which is a shame.

Yes, cold over for us, 3 days now of non stop rain, then drier from Tuesday, but remaining mild for at least 10 days, Very wet end to ECM though

Its only looking mild sunday/Monday,tuesday onwards getting colder but dry.

HP never very far away from now on,kill the rain off hopefully, but one day last week was shocking heavy rain under HP.

Can`t see this snowcover lasting till then but 2 inches left after now temps have risen a touch overnight to 1.8c with a min of  -2.4c

Woke up around 4 last night to feed the 3 month old and there was no snow on the ground here. Just plain old rain falling now. Pretty uninspiring cold spell. A suger dusting of snow that got washed away by 10:30 yesterday!

Shropshire really has become so dull to live weather wise! Storms are rarer then rocking horse poo and snow is something we use to get pretty regular here but now its about as rare as a Gabby Agbonlahor goal ( yes to compound the misery i am a Villa fan lol!!)

Sunday, persistent rain at times, Monday Light Rain on and off, Tuesday cloudy but dry ..... 3 days of none stop rain :acute:

This forthcoming week is not mild, as the week progresses day temps struggle with hard overnight frost's, this is due to HP bringing in a Continental Flow

And next weekend looks ATM potentially even colder :) ////////////////NOTHING BUT MILD :cold:

Woke up about 7am and there had been a bit more snow since last night's report, but still only at dusting level. All gone now though again, apart from a few patches I can see on my neighbours lawn from yesterday's event. Raining now. Until next time.

We had a cold spell?

Sorry but it sucked. No frost, what can best be described as a patchy sugar dusting which lasted for a few hours, and ultimately we've had more rain than snow. Big fail for me.
