Gusty winds whipping the snow around, not something we see often.

Looks like a pretty intense band of snow, and gales too, this will be a true blizzard.  Why haven't the met office got any warning out for this, it's dangerous?!!

Woke up, looked outside and... SNOW! Ok, ok! It's only a cm or so, but I'll take it.  My two year old is fascinated by it. Are we getting any more?

look at the radar, there's a band moving down from the north, ETA 1 hour(ish)

Nice looking trough heading rapidly towards us, hopefully daybreak might pep it up a bit more or at least allow it to maintain intensity.

Its not 'blizzard conditions', just strong winds and snow but visibility isn't reduced much. Its just rare to see snow and wind at the same time!

There is the risk of further snow showers late tonight/early hours of tomorrow, by the way.

I'm about to start my walk to work.

Hi ho. Hi ho. Off to work I go!
Through the wind and through the snow. Hi ho. Hi ho!

The streets are already gridlocked in Stoke as per usual. I saw a BMW being pushed up the hill by me...when will they learn to stay off the roads in poor conditions?!
