Presuming you're on a Windows PC that's not running an ancient operating system then you will have the snipping tool. Just click on the start (windows) icon in the bottom left hand corner and type in snipping tool. Alternatively you could always click the old print screen key on your keyboard, then open microsoft paint and paste your desktop into there. From paint you can crop and edit to your hearts content. :)

Its still early  but i think this well catch a few people out.  During the day  there as been upgrades galore on this event (friday).  Also looking at the Met Warnings  a large swave of Northern England is under the warning zones  however .  Looking at the current charts  i expect  warnings to change Thursday  for what its worth i expect 3 or so inches of this.

5cm would be a dream come true for me... which goes to show how bad the past few winters have been.

Think you might get more, at your elevation Fri/Sat

A 1cm covering would be the best snow event I have had since Boxing Day 2014. Ridiculous...

For sunday? Looks very borderline to me for Sunday. 850's are too high for snow to lower levels ?

Looks further south than the GFS 18z to me, which is what our region would need. The 18z looked too marginal away from high ground to me.

With cold air in place at the surface, uppers won't be so important.

Good point, there is that. I still think they may be too high for daytime snow at low levels though. We shall see, I hope i'm wrong :D
