you'd think after 4 almost snowless years, that people might be interested in the snow crossing the region at the minute.

Goes to prove the totaly lack of faith in cold weather now, such a sad shame :-(

I remember 14 years ago, the forums would have been in meltdown over a snow trogh like this, watching every minute of every forum (we all remember the legendary BBC weather board )

I just hope this winter will pay us back for being such a little snot about it all!

Where’s the Derbyshire guys on here?

Flash bar stores are reporting snow on Facebook...!

I’m just 6 miles north of Derby. Not hoping for anything here as i’m in the bottom of a valley.Higher areas such as Crich and Alport could See a dusting but everything is too far west atm.

Yup, we’re all a bit jaded I think after the last few winters!

the snow radar was showing sleet for here around about now, but as per usual there’s nothing in, or falling from the sky, so duped again I guess.

Hey ho, the winter is yet young (as we’ll spend most of the next 3 months saying ? )

We have snow falling and settling on cars, roofs and grass.

Beginning to settle on roads and pavements too.

A heavy snow shower just passed over here. About 2cm lying judging from a quick peer into the darkness from the window,

A dusting of snow here, mainly on cars and grass. Precip at the moment is falling as pellets and snow mix.

Didn't expect to see that much up there. Tempting being a Saturday to head up but the main road is closed due to stuck lorries.
