Only a very light dusting here but the hills are white so will be taking a walk/drive up there soon :)

Still snowing lightly here but not adding to the small covering we had overnight.

Still snowing here and no sign of a thaw it's actually settling really well, surprised people further north are reporting rain and sleet. Very strange

Been snowing lightly all morning. There's a dusting, but it's already thawed on some surfaces such as pavements, but still a covering on grass, cars and roofs.

9 minutes ago, shaky said:

Is it me or am i seeing that snow line retreat back north and west from east anglia!!maybe importing colder dew points than forecasted from the netherlands!!

Us in northants had nothing all morning actually missing it looking at radar it gets near us and then fizzles out.

Shropshire back to its old tricks. Absolutely nothing, snow in Birmingham and Wales, radar says it's snowing but nothing fell. Good old Salop weather shield.....

Edit. Looking closely it is doing something. It's effing well RAINING. What it is with this county????

Horrible snizzle now. Had a slight covering but a load of rubbish in reality. Will all be gone in no time. What has happened to winters in this country?

Rain being reported in Cheshire/Lancashire too so at least I'm not alone... but why? How? Uppers support snow. Is it cause the winds turned Nly and northerlies mean milder temps no matter what? But why only us and Cheshire/Lancs?

We are certainly well overdue a decent snowfall, been over 4 years since ive seen a measurable 5cm+ snowfall, which is a record for my 43 year lifetime. Don't think I went more than 2 years before 1990!
