Yep snow grains here too this morning....

Temperature was still below freezing as it fell, and it blew along the road!

Min of -3.7C overnight, now at 1.2c.

Had a dusting of snow here earlier with a hard frost.Skies then cleared and it soon melted cloudy again now.

Thursday looks a bit chilly here. Could be an ice day, with the temperature struggling to get above freezing and frost lasting all day.

now working in shawbury , it feels arctic .. I know the guys on here moan about lack of snow in Shropshire but jees you get the cold air !!!

Snow patches still persist up behind me on the higher hills.

Whens that snow from? Its a shame there wasn't more widespread deep snowfall mid Jan as it could of lasted for quite sometime under this continental flow.

that's surely unusual, would have thought all white around that area! bet it was in 90's

Then......Some snow flurries are possible at first on Friday, but then clouding over later.

Clear yesterday morning with just a ground frost of 2.5c.

This morning cloudy and breezy at -1.4c going to feel the coldest day of the winter today from the SE.

A black frost.

Hi vizzy, The snow still remaining would be from the 13th.

-2c still which was the overnight low too. Not seen a day like this in years. Dry as a bone too with no frost. Wind chill is biting.

Still below freezing here currently -1c.. dull over cast wind chill is very cold and can confirm that we have had a few flakes of snow floating about in the wind. have a feeling some in the east of the region could see some snow early tomorrow morning...

Yes the coldest SSE wind since march 2006.

But otherwise its the coldest day for 4 years at 0.3c max and fresh to strong wind.

It's felt very bitter outside today with the wind chill. I haven't felt this cold outside for a long time. The sort of cold that really bites into your hands. No snow of course but interesting nevertheless and is certainly characteristic of true Winter weather.
