march 2013 have all raised expectations

Those chesire gap streamers looking good to me. Seem to be intensifying would love them to merge.

Nothing in Derby either just light rain all afternoon.My little lad turned 2 in December and still hasn't seen any snow.We're just too far East.

Question is will they go north of us? I'd say so unless the wind changes a little

I can't make out if they are moving slightly more south right at the end of the frames? Or is it just me hoping

18z looks risky. Another shift west, precipitation looks more intense for our area tomorrow morning but warm sector is closer. If it stays like that I'll be happy though.

I feel greedy saying this after having a fairly good snow shower about an hour go leaving a dusting (yes, that's how bad our winters have got...) but I would absolutely love those Cheshire gap streamers to nudge south just a little!

Yes didn't look all that good....confused .com...earlier showed the band a little further west with snow for the north Midlands coming south during the morning....oh well! we'll see :smile:

Agreed. A dustings better than nothing, but it's not something we'll talk about for years to come and we usually get at least one of those most Winters. But some in this thread haven't even had that, so I guess we should count ourselves lucky. Still hoping for more though.

Just seen that, BBC graphics show it barely making it inland. Complete opposite to the last 2 GFS updates.

The showers are getting pretty far inland now, and the stronger winds aren't even due until the early hours. Surely they'll push the shower further inland?

Streamer just got me, who knows west Stafford, Gnosall etc might be missing out, I live SE Stafford
