Snow being reported in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight even, what is wrong with the weather? Colder air coming from the north, it rains here and snows down there?

The folks in the Walsall area should be looking out for snow very soon, first shower about to hit there.

A tiny bit too far west here at the moment.

A mini squall of snow NW wind earlier left a slight dusting which amazingly is still here and it froze this afternoon higher up its been cloudy all day with a light west wind now veering NW again and clear skies coming in.

Too far North for the band of snow, too far east for the showers, too far west for the band later tonight. Absolutely ridiculous how the Greek Islands can get a simple Northerly and get covered in snow, yet in the UK every single tiny little thing needs to go right. No doubt, accounting for latitude the UK is the single worst place in the world for snow.

More development between Colwyn Bay and Liverpool. This is exactky the area we need to see it. Can it carry on building and hold together?

Coming down really well now and getting a good dusting on all surfaces. Quite a surprise when looking what's on the radar.

Really? It's got to come to you surely? I'd keep looking if I were you. Still coming down nicely here.

Good...would have been really confusing if this hadn't of reached you!

If it can hold together, south of Birmingham and towards Stratford would be next for this pokey little shower.

Yh, what do you make of tomorrow on the 12z shows the band much further west. Big upgrade.

Hadn't seen it yet. Will hold judgement for now though. These things chop and change right up to the last minute.

Could easily see showers pushing quite far inland, as far as perhaps Coventry overnight. Seem to be holding their shape.
