All over for us now in NW Leics and those streamers in north Wales will miss us to the west.

When will I learn.....so much hope again dashed!!

Good luck to fellow midlanders in the west who will look to do well from the north Wales streamers.

Can't see anywhere getting much more than a covering to be honest, even in the south east.

The organised band of sleet/snow which will travel down the Eastern flank of the UK quickly from Scotland overnight is worth keeping an eye on for those of us further East, I imagine a surprise covering for a fair few, arriving around 3-4am.

Further West, a more showery affair but for those of you who happen to find yourselves in the sweet spots (as always with these setups) you will likely see something come daylight hours.

very sleety snow here in Bedworth, temps of 2'c and dewpoint of -0.6'c , so it's looking good for any showers that may follow. Fingers crossed!!

Another absolute disappointment and anti climax here in east midlands. just cold rain.  is it really so much to ask for even one decent snow day in this lousy country?  obviously yes is the answer.  i give up.

I completely agree with you. I wasn't expecting much but the meto did forecast an hour of heavy snow and that didn't happen!!

I cannot even see the south east getting hit the main band is moving to quick. I bet Heathrow won't be very happy the METO.

Tonight will be a non event to trust me!!!!!!

With these events I do have sympathy with METO but I think they are over cautious!!

Anyway see everyone next time for the next non event!!!

Thinks 'I'll pop back to my computer and finish those emails whilst the snow gets going'

Looks out of the window - coming on nicely

Finishes emails 4 minutes later. Snow stops.

I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad! - ha ha ha , there's no getting round that swear filter is there? Lol lol

yes this countries climate really is pants.  people say its exciting because its so changeable and unpredictable.  well give me predictable hot sunny summers and cold snowy winters over unpredicable any day.

Snow shield firmly in place in Kidderminster. We did have some sleet (at least I think it was). I know that it was always going to be marginal at best, but still, I did have my hopes up for a while. Hey-Ho, Mother Nature will do what she will. Like others I am hoping tha the next week or 2 will brings some wintry surprises. Heres hoping!

Well it rained in Nottingham but not a single flake however to be fair  we were never forecast anything from that system coming up from the south. Lets hope tonight brings better news for us over in the East from the system coming down from Scotland however knowing Nottingham it will miss us & just affect lincolnshire
