Fancy helping us test some new forum software?

Hi all, we're contemplating a change of forum software currently, and plan to run a private beta test to get feedback from a representative sample of community members, and for that we need volunteers!

If you'd be interested in helping out, please shout in this thread. We'll simply be looking for people to use the new software, and provide views on how you find it - so no technical knowledge needed.

We're still at a very early stage in the planning for this, so the testing won't start for a short-while, and any final decision will follow later down the line. Beyond that, should we be going ahead with the change, we'll plan accordingly, and will convert the existing posts, your accounts etc etc to the new system so that nothing is lost.

Once the demo is ready to go, I'll send out invites to the volunteers - this may be in stages, so we can control numbers a bit and ensure all goes smoothly.

Thanks

Paul
