Dry and clear during the early part of last night but clouding over after midnight. Rain, heavy at times, arrived early this morning and this has now broken up into light-moderate showers with a few patches of blue sky visible at the moment.

Early morning rain cleared by 0900 g.m.t to leave a dry morning and early afternoon with sunny spells. Further rain moved in from the north by 1330 g.m.t and continued for the rest of the afternoon, most of it light but with some short spells of  moderate rain.

Funny old day with a cool wet start and an overnight min of 7.1c.

The sun then came out in the morning with a max of 10.8c being reached at 12.42pm. Heavy rain then encroached from the NW where the temp dropped dramatically to 6c by 3pm.

Today's min was 5.6c around 6pm and the rainfall total for today is 7.4mm.
