Not sure if there is a seperate thread for Nicole,  if so please feel free to merge this in.  Nicole currently looking fantastic on satellite imagery and will undoubtedly soon be upgraded to cat 3.  Just hope for Bermuda that she does not make direct landfall....

Recon are en route (won't get another advisory until about 1am though).. I agree with the above, Nicole is likely a major hurricane. Eye is pretty big though so i imagine that it's going for the huge wind field rather than making a run at cat 4.

She looks like hitting Bermuda as a Cat 4, pressure 950mb with 130mph winds

Nicole just downgraded to Cat 3 Hurricane - Weathernation.

119MPH gust recorded

She has weakened slightly to CAT 3 still extremely dangerous

I thought cat 4 was 135mph or did i miss an advisory.

Cat 4 is 130 - 155 ish could be wrong though
