Sunny Sheffield at 10.2C should be close to the final figure this with the warm end cancelling any drops out in the next few days.

Down to 10.1C -0.1C below normal showing what an average month it's been. So a good chance still of it ending slightly above normal. Today shouldn't move it down but a mild night may push it back up 10.2C. That's anything above 7C

Still on 10.1C local forecast not picking on the warm weather for later this week which interesting.

9.9c here to the 22nd, 0.1c above 1981-2010 average. Looking like it may drop below average over the coming few days and will be interesting to see what it will finish on after the warm up later in the week.

Slowly coming down here, 11.1 °C - closer to the MetO regional average of 10.8 °C

Minimum today is 4.6C while maxima look like being around the mid 11s, so a chance of dropping o 10.8C on tomorrows update.

After that, the 06z GFS has the CET at:

10.8C to the 24th (9.4: +0.0)
10.7C to the 25th (9.4: +0.0)
10.7C to the 26th (11.2: +1.6)
10.8C to the 27th (12.3: +2.5)
10.9C to the 28th (12.8: +3.0)
10.9C to the 29th (11.5: +2.6)
10.9C to the 30th (11.9: +2.7)
10.8C to the 31st (7.4: -1.9)

Some mild days being balanced out by slightly most cooler nights over the next week or so, with the GFS then finishing off the month with a sharp drop in temps as a northerly sets in. At this stage, I'd say 10.4C to 11.1C before corrections, and 10.0C to 11.1C after corrections looks likely.

looks like my reverse psychology voodoo has worked on the CET! Went with 11.5 which I thought (hoped) might be a little top-side, but I usually go too low!

Another drop likely tonight before a rise towards November.

Down to 9.9C. Today will produce a 9.8C but then it's looking like a mild next few days so should end up average to slightly above.

Sunny Sheffield 9.8C  certainly will end up close to average but on the plus side guessing we will finish around 10.3C to 10.4C.

The 12z, now that the northerly has been pushed back to November, has the CET climbing to 11.2C before corrections. I'll do a full update tomorrow if I have the time.

Minimum today is 9.1C, while maxima were around the mid 14s, so remaining on 10.8C on tomorrows update.

After that, the 06z GFS has the CET at:

10.9C to the 28th (13.9: +4.1)
11.0C to the 29th (13.3: +4.4)
11.0C to the 30th (12.7: +3.5)
11.1C to the 31st (12.5: +3.2)

A very mild finish now seems certain with the month finishing above average, at least before corrections are applied. 10.9C to 11.2C before, and 10.5C to 11.2C after corrections looks the likely range.

Sunny Sheffield 9.9C a mild night tonight so should be on 10C by tomorrow. Looking like 0.1c addition per day if GFS temps come off so 10.4C by the months end here. Normally a +0.5 to 0.7v difference between and CET  so I would expect a figure of around 11C. We shall see.
