Yes we had a rainbow without rain as well. There was a shower near by though .

Me and my son saw iridescent rainbow cloud earlier today. The weather was still and mostly sunny till about 3:00, then it turned a bit more windy and the convective cloud started turning up. Has not rained here yet though. The iridescent cloud was high up.

Just had the first heavy shower of the day, didn't realise it was an over night event.

Back in grimy grey London (I returned on Friday) definitely fallen in love with Devon - it's a lovely place with some stunning beaches and scenery.

Guess that makes it a bow then:unknw: It's:cold:

The rain arrived about 5 minutes after I typed that. I know it sounds silly, but I'm not used to the rain arriving from the east!!! :D

Mist again this morning. I'm sure there is more mist and fog around in October mornings than last year.

So we head out to take bubs to the fire station for her rainbows tour and there were some wonderful skies out there, I counted maybe 5 towers, lovely. So we drop her off, and it's a tad chilly so decide to head off to get a hot drink while we wait. All the time i'm watching those clouds and low and behold they are getting closer. lovely.

So we head back and by now that cloud is quickly heading our way, and while our little ones are having fun with the water hoses, it becomes clear that we weren't the only ones that were going to get a tad wet. not so lovely.

So while they get inside to finish off the tour, already a bit late from the picking up time, we are getting soaked and it feels freezing. I smile at one of the fireman along with another mum and he opens the door and our kiddies come out. As if the norm the rain has almost stopped by the time we get to the car, but the rainbows had fun :)

Nice crisp morning, nippy but I think we missed a frost although there was a lot of dew. bright sun and a bit of mist.

Lovely.

For the first time today I changed my mind about stepping out onto the balcony to have a quick vape this morning. Far too chilly!

Just came back from the school run, ok i was wearing coat, scarf and gloves but it felt quite mild out, but cloudy and there was a spot of rain. Honestly it felt like a spring day.

I was around all those places during the storms of 13/14 - I absolutely loved it. Here's a pic I took at Lulworth Cove during 60mph wind gusts..

Today was pretty decent with sunny spells and a light north easterly breeze, there were a few light showers but they missed my location.

Quite a nice Autumn day here with decent sunny spells and not overly windy. Definitely feeling chilly though!
